In a bold move toward responsible AI innovation, Beatoven.ai has unveiled Maestro, its first fully in-house foundation model for music generation. This milestone isn’t just about cutting-edge technology—it promises to reshape how artists are compensated in the age of AI.

    What Makes Maestro Different?

    • Trained on Fully Licensed Datasets
Maestro stands out by being built entirely from licensed music, loops, samples, and sound effects. This approach allows Beatoven.ai to guarantee that creative outputs are legally safe and free from potential copyright infringement concerns.
    • Powered by a Vast and Diverse Dataset
According to CEO Mansoor Rahimat Khan, Maestro was trained on a dataset 30 times larger than previous Beatoven.ai models, enabling it to generate higher-volume, higher-quality instrumental tracks across genres.
    • Currently Instrumental-Only, Expandable Soon
At launch, Maestro generates instrumental tracks based on natural-language prompts. But Beatoven.ai plans to add sound effects and vocal capabilities in future updates.

    Revenue Sharing and Artist Payouts

Perhaps the most groundbreaking aspect of Maestro is its artist-friendly revenue model:

    • Attribution via Musical AI
Beatoven.ai teamed up with Musical AI, a rights management and attribution platform. Whenever Maestro’s generated output includes elements from an artist’s sample, that artist is identified and compensated accordingly.
    • 30% Revenue Share for Artists
Artists whose work contributes to generated content receive 30% of the revenue their contributions generate. This mirrors streaming-like compensation models and ensures fair rewards for creative input.
    • Ethical Licensing & Rights Management
Maestro’s infrastructure is built on ethical and legally sound practices, backed by partnerships with Rightsify, Soundtrack Loops, Symphonic Music, Bobby Cole, Vadi Sound, and Pro Sound Effects.

    Access and Subscription Details

    • Subscription Access
Maestro is accessible to users via a dedicated subscription tier priced at $20 (approximately ₹1,750). While users can generate unlimited soundtracks, they’re limited to downloading 15 minutes of output per month.
    • Enterprise Offering
Beatoven.ai also plans to offer Maestro as a white-label solution for music studios and enterprise clients—opening the tool to broader B2B use cases.
    • Mobile App on the Horizon
A mobile version is in development, expected to launch by the end of 2025—adding flexibility for creators on the go.

Why Maestro AI Stands Out in 2025

    • Ethical AI Meets Commercial Utility
Amidst lawsuits against AI music platforms for unauthorized content use, Maestro’s licensing-first approach is both principled and practical. It exemplifies how AI can foster creativity while respecting creators’ rights.
    • A Blueprint for the Industry
By compensating artists through clear revenue-sharing—and leaning on recognized licensing frameworks—Beatoven.ai and Musical AI are pioneering a model that others can follow.
    • Empowering Independent Artists
Smaller artists often get sidelined in digital platforms. Maestro reverses that trend by ensuring creators are rewarded whenever their work influences AI-generated content.

    Final Thoughts

Beatoven.ai’s Maestro isn’t just another AI music generator—it’s a landmark in blending technological innovation with ethical responsibility. By offering licensing, revenue sharing, and fair attribution, Maestro sets a hopeful precedent for the creative industry in the AI era.

As AI-generated content continues to expand, models like Maestro demonstrate that technology doesn’t have to compromise artists—it can uplift them. The real test lies ahead: will this model spark broader change? For now, it’s a strong step in the right direction.
